A gilt bronze figure of Dharmacakramanjusri. Tibet. In the style of the 16th century

The bodhisattva seated in padmasana on a double lotus base, wearing dhoti, jewellery partly inlaid with stones, his hands in the gesture of dharmacakra-mudra, lotus branches unfolding their blossoms on both shoulder sides, crowned on the right by the "Sword of Knowledge" and on the left by the "Book of Wisdom". Throne base subsequently sealed.
