A polychromed wood figure of Shoulao. Ming dynasty, 17th century

Seated on his reclining stag on a rocky base, the right hand raised, the high crown and ears prominently modelled, the hair tied into a bun at the nape and covered by a headress covering the shoulders. Losses and traces of polychromy with traces of gold.
