A parcel gilt Renaissance silver beaker

Round domed base decorated with finely chased mauresque motifs supporting a solid silver shaft with strapwork flanking three male herms. The slender cup flares out towards the rim and is undecorated save for finely engraved tendrils below the lip. H 23 cm, weight 371 g.
Presumably South German, conjoined maker's mark 'RG' or 'GR', around 1600.
