A wood four level book storage and display stand (sabang t'akja). Korea. First half 20th century

The compartment on the bottom with a double door, used for books and manuscript storage, rests on a socle with cabriole legs, the uppermost shelf with three drawers. All fronts applied with ox horn with figures in a landscape in reverse painting. Copper alloy fittings, hinges and drawer handles.
