A gilt wood figure of Amida Nyorai. 18th/ early 19th century

In four parts. Seated in meditation, both hands in raigoin, large curls in regular rows covering the head and ushnisha. The eyes of reverse painted glass, both urna of rock crystal and rose quartz. The large lotus flower throne with an inserted mandorla consisting of two lotus flowers encircled by scrollwork, damaged. Along with a high bell-shaped pedestal carved with clouds, and with a sliding door at the front, on a red lacquer footed pedestal (one foot missing).
Height of Buddha, lotus throne and mandorla 47,5 cm; height of the socle 29,7 cm; total height 77.2 cm
