An Echizen or Tanba tsubo. Ca. 17th century

Of elongated ovoid shape on a slightly concave base, with a short neck and a thickened lip, the upper part of the body with a horizontal indentation and very thin horizontal lines. Various light beige-coloured glaze spots, partly running in streaks.
