A Mandalay bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni. 19th/early 20th century

Seated in meditation on a flat beaded base, the right hand hanging down in bhumisparshamudra, the left hand placed in dhyanamudra above the feet, the tiny curls of lacquer and the fillet separating the hairline from the face applied with glass spangles.
