A standing ormolu figure of the god Mars

Gilt bronze figure of the god in Classical armour with a lance, on a rosso antico marble plinth. Wear to the gilding and a retouched soldered repair to the lance, a casting fault to the reverse. H with stone 21.3 cm.
Venice, attributed to the workshop of Tiziano Aspetti, early 17th C.
