A North German chest of drawers

Walnut, burr walnut, cherry, elm, maple, coloured wood and ebony inlays on softwood, brass fittings, iron locks with latches. Three-drawered cabinet with serpentine front and unusual corner pilasters with carved composite capitals. The drawer fronts and top with fine banded inlays. In restored condition, the edges of the middle drawer with minor wear. H 81.5, W 126, D 64 cm.
