A Louis XV carved gilt oak frame

Carved in high relief with rocailles, flower garlands and curving reeds. Cut, stabilised on the reverse with softwood, regilt. Inner dimensions 66.5 cm x 50.5 cm, outer dimensions 89 cm x 73 cm.
Mid 18th C. with later alterations.
