A Neoclassical "Psyche" mirror

Mahogany veneer on softwood, solid mahogany, ebonised wood, gilt bronze/brass, original faceted mirror, original casters. Twisting mirror between two column supports on a shallow, oblong base with a drawer and angular scroll feet. Stamped on the drawer "HARDER" and "Wörlitz", and with inventory mark L.F. beneath a princely crown in the drawer. Minor losses to the veneer. H 189, W 109, D 51.5 cm.
Attributed to Principality of Anhalt-Dessau, late 18th C.
