A large Gothic Revival gilt brass monstrance

Six-lobed foot with pierced base decorated with six medallion appliques on blue enamel ground depicting the Virgin Mary, the four Evangelists and Christ. Dual shaft with a central compressed node with rhomboid rotuli. The ornate architectural expositorium held aloft by a kneeling Seraph. Figures of St. Joseph, Theresa of Avila, Peter and Paul stand in niches to the right and left of the central vessel. A figure of God the father in a cloud in the upper section beneath a gable with the Dove of the Holy Spirit and a Crucifix above. H 79.5 cm
