A Frisian Baroque silver tea caddy

Rectangular box with cylindrical spout and lid. Engraved on one side with the monogram 'FH' beneath a crown and 'JEF' between palm fronds and acanthus on the other. The removable base plate with a later engraving "DW 1851". H 14.5; W 9.7; D 5.2 cm, weight 252 g.
Unmarked, attributed to Friesland, first half 18th C.
