A large Neoclassical silver gilt monstrance

The plinth-like predella on four paw feet with cherubs' heads with a finely cast and chased depiction of the Last Supper to the display side and the Agnus Dei to the reverse. The sides with depictions from Christ's Passion. Shaft formed as a sheaf of wheat and grapes with a central node bearing medallions with the pelican feeding its young and the Dove of the Holy Spirit. The expositorium surrounded by rays of light containing a lunette with foil set glass stones. The finial formed as a cross. H 99 cm, weight 4,182 g.
