A Meissen porcelain service with Watteau motifs

Comprised of a tea and coffee pot, tea caddy, five cups, two teabowls and seven saucers. All pieces finely decorated with figures of courting couples, pilgrims, and commedia dell'arte characters after the works of Antoine Watteau. Blue crossed swords mark, 93 in gold. Minor chips to the rims of two cups and the finials, the lid of the tea caddy lost. H of coffee pot 15.7 cm.
