A Meissen porcelain ecuelle on stand

Soup bowl with the original lid and a grape finial. All pieces painted with figures in the manner of Watteau in quatrefoil surrounds alongside "woodcut" style flowers and insects. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's no. 9 (plate). The uppermost vine leaf restored. H bowl 14.5, D saucer 23 cm.
Around 1740.
