A Meissen porcelain tea caddy with Hoeroldt Chinoiseries

Painted with four delicate scenes after designs in the Schulz-Codex, the shoulders with "indianische blumen". Smoothed base with blue crossed swords mark and I, dreher's mark of Johann George Grund, 62 in gold. With a restored crack to one side. H with later silver mountings 10.5 cm.
1730s, decor attributed to Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt.
