A pair of blue and white lidded baluster vases. Qing dynasty, 19th century

Baluster-shaped pair of vases with Ming-style decoration. Both with flowering lotus scrolls all around over a leaf border with strings of pearls. On the shoulder a ruyi border, on the neck a row of banana leaves. A modelled lion cub sits on the helmet-shaped lids with floral decoration. (2)
