An Imari lidded bowl with French silver mounts. Arita. Around 1680, the mounts Paris, around 1732

With a rounded body and an almost flat lid, painted in underglaze-blue around two-toned iron-red with peony branches and iris. The handles, the rim of the lid and the knob with a moveable handle of silver, the marks barely legible.
Height with lowered handle 8.2 cm; width with handles 16.2 cm
