An Ayutthaya torso of a Buddha. Thailand. 14th/15th century

Torso of an upright standing Buddha, the right forearm stretched out, the now missing hand was held in abhayamudra, the left arm hanging down. The robe (uttarasanga) covers both shoulders. Remains of loam, cracks in the bronze. Mounted on a wooden stand.
Height 54.5 cm
