An ivory netsuke of Kanzan and Jittoku. 19th century

Holding on to his broom Jittoku sits next to the standing Kanzan, both displaying a long scroll with Kanzan pointing at the writing. The engravings of the garment patterns and the long hair stained deep black, red pigments accentuate their mouths. Inscribed Yoshitomo in an oval reserve.
