A Tibetan Mandala of Chakrasamvara. 17th/18th century

The central lotus blossom of the mandala palace depicting Chakrasamvara with his consort Vajravarahi in yab-yum, surrounded by eight lotus blossoms, with alternating dakinis and skull bowls. The four gates of the palace are enclosed by concentric circles including the eight mortuary grounds, all embedded between lamas and adepts, as well as Palden Lhamo and Vaishravana. Mounted on cardboard in blue silk with dragons, clouds, and waves. Framed under glass.
