A silver box with a perpetual calendar

Round, slightly bombé-form box with a bail and hinged lid. Finely engraved with acanthus, flowers and fruit to the outer walls, the base with a municipal coat-of-arms with three towers. The lid engraved with 31 numbers beneath a movable disc with Latin inscriptions of the seven planets to represent the days of the week. Diameter 4.8 cm, weight 46 g.
