A set of Saxon silver folding cutlery

Silver and steel cutlery set comprising a two-pronged fork and knife. The pistol-shaped handles with figures of soldiers at the terminals and inlaid with tortoiseshell attached with decorative silver studs. Engraved with a small coat-of-arms with crossed swords. In the original fitted leather case. L 16 cm.
The silver unmarked, the blade with a smithy mark, Saxony, late 17th C.
