A Meissen porcelain tea bowl with palace inventory number, mounted as a box

Tea bowl finely painted with "three friends of winter" motifs (pine, bamboo, prunus). The base of the cup with a small prunus sprig. The lid painted with an unusual table motif in purple lustre beneath Oriental flowers and a later flower to the interior. The tea bowl engraved with the blackened inv. no. "N=243.w". H 5.7 cm.
Around 1728 - 33, the gilded copper mountings 19th C.

Former Royal Polish and Electoral Saxon porcelain collection.
