A Creussen stoneware tankard with hunting motifs

Salt glazed stoneware with slightly shiny surface and polychrome enamel decor. Decorated with a central motif of a leaping deer, a fox hunt and bear hunt motifs. Nearly vertical restored crack to the left of the stag. Pewter lid and basal ring. H with thumbrest 14 cm.
Dated 1676 below the handle.
