With gold outlines and transparent pigments against mirror foil. Inscribed lower left "D. Mornier pinxt.", lower right "L. L'Empereur". In a gilt softwood frame H 68, W 56.5 cm.
After David Morier (1705? - 1770).

The painted engraving by Louis Simon L'Empereur (1728 - 1807) is based on the central motif of the painting by David Morier in the Royal Collection Trust (inv. no. RCIN 404328).
