A silver capsule, presumably German, 15th C.

Cast and engraved silver. Two-part capsule depicting the Crucifixion avers and the Virgin and Child with two angels revers. Fitted with a bail, the piece could have been used to hold the consecrated host.
With abrasions and minor dents. Diameter 9.5 cm.
