A Kutch tea set and salver. India, Gujarat, Bhuj. Around 1900

Tea pot, milk jug and sugar bowl, all on four feet, chased throughout with hunting scenes of animals and birds, scrolling foliages and floral patterns on a finely ring-punched ground, all with a shield bearing the monogram S.M.P., handles on the lid in shape of birds, the tray of shaped oval form displaying scrolling foliage and flowers. Milk jug and salver with a ring-punched inscription. Weight 897 g, 417 g, 555 g und 1,300 g. (4)
