A pattern welded Afghan pulouar with scabbard. 19th century

The curved steel blade with two fullers, the hilt shaped and with ornaments in relief, down-turned quillions ending in abstract dragon-heads, the mid-section with a rosette and ending in a leaf shape, the pommel features a small knob and loose ring. The wood scabbard is covered with ray skin, the ferrule of iron with ornaments in relief, the mouth piece of silver with engraved decoration.
