A Sino-tibetan gilt bronze figure of Yama Dharmaraja. 18th/19th century

Standing in pratyalidha on a buffalo. His left hand raised in harina, as is his right hand, in which he holds a kapala danda. Remains of cold-gilt on the face, the mane-like wild hair with remnants of red paint. The jewelry inlaid in turquoise and a pink coloured stone. Two parts, base sealed.
Height 20.6 cm
