Glass painted on reverse in eglomisé with gold and silver leaf against brown paper ground. With etched signature "jos.Clausser.Fec." lower left. Flaking to the margins. Carved, painted and gilded softwood frame, H 30.5, W 25 cm.

This composition reproduces an etching by the Florentine engraver and publisher Francesco Bartolozzi (1728 - 1813) after Franz Xaver Karl Palko (1724 - 1767) in a mirror image.
This lot includes the original print.
