An 18k gold knot brooch with a fine ca. 15 ct Ceylon sapphire cabochon.

Knot motif centrally set with a fine natural ceylon sapphire cabochon of ca. 15 ct (ca. 16.43 x 13.51 x ca. 6.55 mm) with pierced backing. Can also be worn as a pendant via a bail on the reverse. Not hallmarked. 2.9 x 3.2 cm. Weight 20.57 g.

Certificate

Gemstone Report No. 037381 of DSEF (German Gem Lab), Idar-Oberstein, confirming that the semi-transparent blue stone of the brooch is a natural corundum, variety natural sapphire, no indications of heating (NTE), origin: Sri Lanka. Tested in sofar as mounting permits.
