A Victorian 14k gold and polychrome translucent enamel snake bangle.

Coiled snake bangle with engraved repoussé scales. The head with open jaws picked out in polychrome transluscent enamel, eyes and body prong set with five tiny rubies. With a hook clasp on the underside of the head. Not hallmarked. Minor surface wear to the enamel of the head. Inner diameter approx. 5 cm. Weight 40.24 g.
