A Victorian flexible 18k gold tubogaz blue enamel and diamond necklace with snake head and heart locket.

Designed as a flexible tube, the clasp with a coiled snake motif suspending a heart-shaped medallion with clear quartz backing. Picked out in cobalt blue enamel, encrusted with vine leaf appliques and set with small rose-cut diamonds. Not hallmarked. Minor wear to the enamel. L 40.5 cm. Heart medallion H 1.5 cm. Total weight 30.1 g.
