A Roman 18k gold and micromosaic cross pendant with depiction of the holy Easter lamb.

Greek cross design, the arms inscribed with the Greek letters N-I-K-A. Inset in the centre with a fine micromosaic tondo (diameter 9.6 mm) depicting the Agnus Dei. Hallmarks: Rome city mark. H 4 cm. Weight 8.64 g.
Ca. 1860/70.

The letters stand for "Victory Christ is victorious" and refer to the resurrection of Christ.
