A large Dresden silver sugar box

Fluted bombé-form oval box with corresponding hinged cover engraved with the coat of arms of the von Beschwitz family. With the original lock and key. Gilt interior. H 11.5; W 20.5; D 15.5 cm, weight 768 g.

Literature

Paul Ingermann held the title of court silver worker under Augustus the Strong from as early as 1728. He was the owner of the house "An der Frauenkirche 9" until his death. Cf.
