A pair of Kassel faience jars from the apothecary of the Landgraves of Hesse-Kassel

Cylindrical vessels with vacant rocaille cartouche motifs surmounted by princely crowns. One with glazed base marked "HL F.I." in blue, one unglazed and marked "H F II" in manganese. Yellowed and brittle restorations around one upper rim, chips.
