A French carriage clock in the original case

Gilt brass clock with five glass panes, two white enamel dials, blued steel hands. Seven day movement with verge escapement, half-hourly striking on a gong spiral, alarm function, repeater switch above. With an illegible inscription (possibly the merchant's) to the dial. H with handle folded down 13.6 cm. Leather travelling case with folding cover and sliding aperture, lined with red velvet.
