Oil on canvas. 53.7 x 64.8 cm. Framed under glass. Signed and dated 'Fautrier 25.' in black lower left. Titled 'GORGES DU TARN' and 'Paysage dramatique' in coloured pen verso on stretcher. - In very good condition with fresh colours, with slight margin defects and two small retouches.
The Gorges du Tarn is the name given to the gorge of the River Tarn in the region north-east of Nîmes.
