Oil on canvas. 80.5 x 67.5 cm. Framed. Signed 'OModersohn' in black lower left. - In fine condition with fresh colours.

Modersohn created the painting on commission of the first owner as a second version of the painting "Das alte Haus in Worpswede (Das alte Haus)" from 1897 (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Albertinum).

Catalogue Raisonné

The painting is listed in Otto Moderson's studio book from 1922/23 under the number 27 and there titled "D. alte Haus".
