Copperplate engraving. Late 18th century

Copper engraving number 4 of a set (Pingding liang Junchuan deshengtu) of 16 copper engravings with detailed scenes of Emperor Qianlong's victorious campaign to conquer Jinchuan between 1771 and 1776, depicting the conquest of the mountain range near Yixi and Daertu (in today's Sichuan province). The inscription consists of a poem by Emperor. Tear. Framed under glass.
