A porcelain four-case inro. 19th century

Painted in underglaze-blue with a tree spreading its peach branches over both sides of the inro, the ground with a reishi fungus and grasses. Marked Koto. Porcelain ojime with landscape in underglaze blue and small manju painted with a landscape in underglaze-blue and marked Kameyama.
Height 9 cm; width 7.2 cm

Koto was a kiln in Sawayama, to the east of Hikone in Omi province and was founded 1818.
