A large shoushan soapstone goat seal. Qing dynasty, 18/19th century

The square seal is surmounted with a reclining goat. The back fur and horns are engraved with fine lines, the nose accentuated with a blood-red inclusion. The seal face is uncut.
Height 7 cm; base 4.2 x 4.1 cm
