Oil on linen-textured paper 36.1 x 26.8/ 27 cm, laid down on a cardboard support 45.7 x 35.6/ 36 cm, framed under glass. Monogrammed A.I. in light green lower left. On the verso inscribed “Schwarzer Baum 2 B 45 [in a circle] 1918” in black ink by an unknown hand. - The paper with tiny thumbtack holes in the corners; the cardboard support browned within the mat opening. - The backside of the cardboard with several exhibition labels, among others from exhibitions in Brunswick, Stuttgart and Cologne.
