Großes chawan. Nezumi-Shino. Mino-Gebiet, Provinz Owari. Frühe Edo-Zeit, 17. Jh.

Zylindrische Form, unterhalb des Mündungsrands wenig eingezogen, auf sehr flachem Fußring, innen spiralig abgedreht. Über einer weißen Glasur eine dünne, graue Glasur, die den Boden frei lässt, daraus ausgespart Strichmuster möglw. ein Fischernetz darstellend und Kiefern. Holzkasten, auf dem Deckel beschriftet: Nezumi-Shino Mino ko-gama (Nezumi-Shino, alter Ofen in Mino) und sign.: Taku shiki und Siegel: Taku.
H 8,7 cm; D 12,6 cm

Katō Takuo (1917-2005) war ein bedeutender Töpfer und Forscher über Herstellungstechniken alter Keramik, insbesondere persischer Lüsterware und Keramik aus dem Mino-Gebiet.
