Terracotta, wooden base, presumably Italy 17th C. (?) (GR 2.080)
The lower part of the figure is lost, and it has been mounted to a wooden base with a plank to the reverse. Height 49 cm.

A terracotta figure of a Bishop-Saint holding a book, presumably 17th century Italian. Three quarters in the round, the reverse has not been worked. A standing figure of a saint in episcopal dress, holding an open book in his hands.The bozetto is characterised by its high detail and characteristic physiognomy.
