An ivory and tagayasan wood kagamibuta. Second half 19th century

An ivory and tagayasan wood kagamibuta carved with a sleeping Hotei and two butterflies of mother-of-pearl, on the reverse a dancing Ebisu of ivory set into the wood bowl. Signed on an inlaid ivory tablet Kakuyûsai and seal Hirotada. Second half 19th century.
