A Nepalese gilt bronze figure of Padmapani. 13th century

A Nepalese gilt bronze figure of Padmapani standing in slight tribhanga on a lotus base, with his right hand lowered in varada mudra and the left hand holding the lotus. He is bejewelled and dressed in a dhoti with a long draped scarf. Remains of cold gilding and blue colour to the hair. Base open. 13th century.
