An 18k gold, fire-gilt metal Louis XV three cases openface pocketwatch with verge escapement and quarter-hourly repetition

With two outer cases and silver cuvette, the first case leather-covered, the second fire-gilt and with a mythological scene. Gold dial with roman numerals, arabic minutes and blued steel hands. Fire-gilt verge movement with chain and fusee. Quarter-hourly repetition to a bell on the underside. Winds with original key. Signed to dial, movement and cuvette "Philipe Miège à Paris", no. 186. Work in need of repair. The push-button defective. Total diameter 6 cm. Total weight 216.3 g.
